What's good - Surprisingly, USJ is still fun and a great value after being in Japan for 7 years. Replacing Osaka city government officals with knowledgable amusement park managers from the United States to run the place helped a lot. Content is updated regularly. The foreign entertainment is usually top notch, far and away the best available in Kansai. The Christmas and Halloween shows are always worth a trip out to the park. Buying a year-long pass for 11,500 yen during their winter sales campaign is a great investment for anyone planning on staying in Kansai more than 6 months. USJ is open nearly every day of the year.
What's bad - USJRestaurants are not good. UJS is very crowded on weekends. 2 hour waits for top attractions are common.
